Every work light ordered from DAYATECH ships from a US fulfillment center. You get a real tracking number, a real carrier, and a real ETA — not a date range padded for marketing.

This page covers the whole path: when the order picks up, how it moves, when it lands, and what to do if the box arrives damaged.

Order Processing

Orders placed before 2:00 PM ET on business days ship the same day. Orders placed after cutoff, or on weekends and US holidays, ship the next business day.

You will receive two emails:

  1. Order confirmation — sent immediately after checkout. Includes order number, items, and billing confirmation.
  2. Shipment notification — sent when the label is generated. Includes carrier, tracking number, and estimated delivery.

If 48 hours pass (business days) without a shipment notification, contact Support with your order number.

Duties and taxes are not included at checkout and are payable on delivery by the customer.

International

Supported destinations: UK, EU member states, AU, NZ. Transit 7–14 business days via DHL Express or UPS. Duties and local taxes are the customer's responsibility and are not collected at checkout.

Tracking

Every order ships with tracking. You can check status:

  1. Via the link in your shipment email
  2. Directly at the carrier's site using the tracking number
  3. By logging into your DAYATECH account at checkout

If tracking shows no movement for 3+ business days past the last scan, contact support — we will open a carrier trace.

Carriers We Use

DAYATECH uses commercial carriers, not marketplace drop-shippers:

  • UPS Ground / UPS Air — primary US carrier for all standard and expedited service
  • USPS — Priority Mail used for AK, HI, territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses
  • Canada Post / UPS Canada — Canadian fulfillment
  • DHL Express — international shipments

No freight forwarders are used for DTC orders. If you need LTL or freight for a bulk order, see Custom Projects — that routing is handled differently.

Damage in Transit

DAYATECH lights are packed to survive normal parcel handling. If your box arrives damaged:

  1. Photograph before opening — picture of the outer box as delivered.
  2. Photograph the product — if the product inside is damaged, picture the packaging layer and the damaged product.
  3. Contact support within 48 hours — email with photos and your order number. The 48-hour window matters: it is what the carrier's claim process requires.
  4. Do not discard packaging — we may need the box for the carrier claim.

DAYATECH ships a replacement as soon as the claim is opened. You do not have to wait for the carrier investigation to resolve.

Delivery Exceptions

  • Undeliverable addresses: the carrier will attempt delivery up to 3 times. After that the package returns to us. We can re-ship to a corrected address (reship shipping fee applies) or refund minus outbound shipping.
  • Signature required: orders over $250 require signature at delivery per carrier policy.
  • PO Boxes: USPS-eligible SKUs only. Tripod and oversize items must ship to a physical address.
  • APO/FPO/DPO: supported via USPS. Extended transit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is shipping?

Standard Ground is free on orders over $49 to the 48 contiguous US states. Expedited is $15 (2-day). Next Day Air is $30 where available.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship to US, CA, UK, EU member states, AU, and NZ. International duties and local taxes are paid by the customer on delivery.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed before 2:00 PM ET on business days ship the same day. Other orders ship the next business day.

My package arrived damaged. What do I do?

Photograph the box before opening and the damaged product. Email support with photos and order number within 48 hours. We ship a replacement immediately.
