The DY-363B is built for the mechanic who moves fast. A strong magnetic base grabs onto any steel surface — hood, frame rail, lift arm — so both hands stay on the work. The wide-panel LED head throws 4,000 lumens of even light across the entire engine compartment, with no hot spots and no shadows where bolts hide.
When the bay has a pipe or a crossbar overhead, the hidden fold-out hook takes over. Tuck the hook away when you don’t need it and the light folds flat into a toolbox drawer. Light output is measured to the LM-79 protocol for real lumen and color figures, and the design is backed by a German Utility Patent.

Lights the whole underside

Hook frees up both hands
The hook is what sold me. Hang it off the raised hood and both my hands are free to splice wiring or hold a connector. Way better than clamping a flashlight in my teeth. Light's bright and the battery lasts through the job.

Saved me on a late-night roadside stop
Got a flat way out on a county road after dark and my phone was nearly dead. Ran on low all day, never swapped the battery
Spent a full Saturday doing a clutch job in my own garage and just left this on the low setting clamped to the fender the whole time. Started in the morning, finished mid-afternoon, and it was still going strong — never had to pull the battery to charge it. Low gives you plenty of clean light to see what you're doing, and when I needed to really get into something I bumped it up. For a folding cordless light this thing punches above what I paid for it.

Built solid, feels good in the hand
Picked this up for general garage work and it's a well-made little light. Holds up to getting knocked around and the build feels solid, not flimsy. Comfortable to hold when I'm carrying it around the car, and the magnet and hook are there when I want to set it down. Bright and easy to fold up after. Would buy it again.
