The DY-363D is the only light in the DAYATECH lineup rated IP65 — fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. Rain on a siding job, mud on a trail, a jobsite washdown — it keeps working. The USB-A port stays protected behind a sealed cover, so you can charge a phone in the same rain that is washing the mud off the light.
Inside the sealed housing, high-efficacy LEDs push 7,000 lumens through four brightness modes while generating very little heat — the housing stays comfortable to handle even after a full shift outdoors. Light output is measured to the LM-79 protocol for real lumen and color figures, and the design is backed by a German Utility Patent.

Dust doesn't get into it

Hosed it off to test it

Held up through a wet overnight repair
We had to throw up a temporary shelter and patch a line overnight while it was coming down hard. Set this thing up and 7,000 lumens lit the whole work zone — rain hitting the housing the entire time and it never flinched. IP65 is the real deal here. Folds down small enough to ride in my bag, and it runs off the same MILWAUKEE batteries I already carry. Smartest call I made for wet-weather work.

Low setting lasts the whole night at camp
Took this on a four-day hunt and the runtime is what impressed me most. Ran it on the low setting around camp and it would go all night and then some on one battery, so I wasn't burning through packs. When I needed to track something at the edge of the field in the early dark I cranked it to the top and it throws a serious amount of light. Rain rolled through one night and I didn't even bother covering it — sealed up and kept going. Folds flat for the pack out. Does everything I need outdoors.

Built tough for the outdoors
This thing is built like a tank. I'm rough on my gear — it rides in the bed of the truck, gets dropped, gets rained on — and it keeps right on running. Bright, sealed up tight, and the runtime holds.
